Thrown on a wheel by a ceramicist working from a studio in rural Wales. The ash glaze produces a soft grey-green finish that varies slightly between pieces. No two are identical. Holds roughly 500ml. Dishwasher safe, though hand-washing keeps the glaze looking its best longer.
Woven from European flax, undyed and unbleached. Gets softer with every wash. The weave is a plain tabby, tightly set, which means it actually dries things rather than just moving water around. Measures 70 x 50cm.
Made by a small candlemaker in the Cotswolds using 100% British beeswax. Burns for approximately 40 hours. Unscented, because beeswax already smells faintly of honey and that's enough. The natural ivory colour deepens slightly as it ages.

A chunky open-knit throw in undyed cotton, made in Portugal by a small family weaving mill. Measures 130 x 170cm. Washes well at 30 degrees. The oatmeal colour comes from the natural cotton, not a dye, so it won't fade unevenly.
A small, narrow-necked vase in a dark stoneware clay with an iron-spot glaze that fires to a warm brown-black with rust-coloured flecks. Holds one or two stems comfortably. Approximately 14cm tall. Made in a studio in the north of England.
Covers made from recycled cotton rag paper, slightly textured and pleasingly heavy. Inside: 80 pages of cream laid paper, unlined, sewn binding. The kind of notebook that makes you want to write something worth keeping. Made in a small paper workshop in Somerset.
